Poor visibility conditions—such as low light, glare, fog, heavy rain, haze, headlights, and murky water—severely degrade video streams and impair navigation software for autonomous vehicles, self-driving cars, drones, and robots. Our software addresses this challenge by combining advanced mathematical algorithms with AI to restore object shape, color, and structural detail while suppressing visual clutter. The Clarifier selectively enhances object geometry and surface features, even when scenes appear nearly opaque. Operating in real time with extremely low latency, it processes any digital video stream and outputs clarified video via LAN, the internet, or a display. The software is available as either a plugin or a standalone solution.
