Tigran has a background in space exploration, having worked on lunar lander and rover projects and research on Venus's magnetosphere. He graduated summa cum laude from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and is an alumnus of the International Space University. In 2016, he received Armenia's Presidential Award for a breakthrough discovery in physics.
