Skylark Wireless builds critical connectivity infrastructure that combines patented range & performance enhancement techniques with a fully-programmable software-defined radio architecture to serve commercial, enterprise, and government customers.
Skylark's turnkey last-mile wireless platform serves three key markets united by a common need for reliable connectivity as a foundation for connected intelligence to enable commerce, automation, and security.
Commercial: Skylark helps tier 2/3 communications service providers retain and grow market share by providing them a fully integrated last-mile wireless solution that provides reliable, high-speed fixed & mobile broadband to their customer base, even in challenging terrains and resource-constricted environments.
Enterprise: Skylark helps enterprises with outdoor, wide area operations implement Industry 4.0 features like automation, enhanced security, and data analysis by providing a multifunctional network solution that enables seamless connections to the wide array of devices present at their operation sites
Government: Skylark's solution supports key DoW priorities including enabling dynamic spectrum sharing in the Golden Dome bands and enhancing connectivity at the tactical edge by utilizing a flexible, software-defined architecture to port connected intelligence IP including ESC, AI-RAN, and proprietary DoW waveforms onto a high-performance COTS radio platform.
Commercial Traction:
- $500M+ in broadband projects secured for customers ($120M+ in projected sales over the next three years)
- First POC deployments of the new platform targeted Q2 2026
- 2nd-gen platform already deployed in commercial pilots
Government Traction:
- Primed a $10.7M USAF OTA focused on dynamic spectrum sharing (tech at TRL 7)
- Completed a $1.8M Army xTech D2PhII SBIR focused on expanding connectivity at the tactical edge (tech at TRL 6)
- Currently executing on a $2 M SBIR Extension for the above (will take tech to TRL 8)
Product Traction:
- Backed by $23M in non-dilutive capital for product development (NTIA, USAF, Army, NSF)
- Full FCC certification of 2nd-gen platform
- Fully owned & issued patents for all core tech
Skylark Wireless LLC received $1,999,984.72 from Army
After year of sustained outdoor testing and iteration, Skylark has received official FCC certification of its 2nd Generation broadband UE device, certifying it for commercial use and sales that comply with FCC and CBRS operational requirements.
This represents a significant milestone for our team and product, in that we’ve developed, produced, and certified a commercial minimum viable product that can be purchased and deployed by any US-based customer. Product translation and production scaling are where many startups with significant hardware products trip up, yet our long history of hardware design and manufacturing, and skilled engineering team has served us well to achieve this milestone.
More announcements are coming–stay tuned!
Skylark receives prestigious and highly competitive $10M non-dilutive development grant to develop our next generation of energy-efficient and scaled Massive MIMO radio platforms to bolster the competitiveness of the domestic RAN ecosystem.
The proposed project aims to integrate and scale a wholly new Software-Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver architecture, Eridan’s Direct Polar Switch-Mode Transmitter in Gallium Nitride (GaN), within a 5G NR Massive MIMO system prototype in order to rovide unprecedented power efficiency and transmitter linearity, both critical parameters and persistent challenges for creating small, affordable, and high-speed connectivity everywhere.
High power tune-ability, increased energy efficiency, and remarkable transmit linearity will unlock unprecedented rural coverage up to 10+ miles cell radius, addressing the affordable rural broadband challenge by offering more capacity over geographically expansive area with minimal infrastructure.

Successfully kicked off our 11k household commercial deployment with Inland Cellular - oversaw installation of first systems on a grain elevator in Moscow, Idaho. Network integration and user testing in preparation for an accelerated rollout is now commencing!
We delivered our first commercial systems to Inland Cellular, including both base station hardware and network management systems. These delivered systems will be installed in July and be serving commercial customers by the end of 2024!
We executed our negotiated delivery contract to our first large-scale commercial customer for a $10M rural broadband deployment in Montana, winning through two open-bid processes against other major vendors based on the technical strength of our product and platform.
Skylark’s first production Massive MIMO base station received FCC certification 2AS22-LUMACH2! This indicates that not only is the MVP complete, it is in production, meets regulatory and performance requirements, and can be legally sold in the United States.
